Here's how Pete and I break in our softball gloves. Our break in process is like a superstition, ritual, and anger management all at the same time. 🤣 Step by step instructions in comments. 

How do you break in your glove? Have any "run it over with your car" tips add them in the comments.

1. My brand new stiffest kip leather glove went they 3 steams at Dicks. Let your glove dry for a couple days.
2. Next I baste my glove like a turkey. I use Hot Glove to baste (link in comments) I cook her for 3 mins (not a second longer at 300 degrees. 
3. Pull it out of the oven and rub in any extra hot shot.  
4. Last grab a rubber mallet a beat it. Take out all that anger on your glove. Most of my mallet abuse is on the laces and in the pocket.
5. Wrap it with a softball inside. Beat it some more.
